PN should tick up a spot or two for next week after a nice result at Beavercreek. I don't think that result is reflected based their respective records. Walsh looks like they are on their way to another DI title. If I remember, they started a young team in last year's title game. Sophia Rossi was for real and now tearing it up at Wake Forest.

Whoever is compiling these polls needs to do some fact checking. Unless I am mistaken and something was changed in competitive balance this year, Fairfield Union is D2, not D1. And I know that non power districts are often unfairly weighted too high in these polls, but even if FU was D1, there is no way they deserve to be in consideration for top in the state. I mean no disrespect to their team and coach, they do a great job, but they are not on the same level as a PN, Gahanna, or Dublin Jerome. I don't think FU has even beat Bloom Carroll in the last few years.

I don't think FU has even beat Bloom Carroll in the last few years. So, I think in a situation where you see that -- I think it's the coach voting for his own team. Regardless of whether or not they deserve to be there. As for if they are D1...I think some non-D1 schools might be D1 for tournament purposes? I feel like I read that somewhere. Hopefully someone with more knowledge in the area can speak to it. But my guess is, FU's coach voted for himself.
