Clearly some upsets here this week, with Pick North and Gahanna falling off. If anyone has inside info on why PN would have fallen after winning a lot of games (maybe the Gahanna tie??)...let me know.

Especially because PN beat Beavercreek -- there is something missing...

Votes are all turned in by coaches Friday morning. Guessing D1 didn't meet their deadline and in turn didn't get any teams represented. This happened this week for CD D2 on the boys side. My guess is Pick North is still top 5.

I see that #5 Springboro lost to Ursuline Academy 1-0. I think some teams are working on different formations and tactics before its win or go home.

That's interesting. I haven't seen the teams, but clearly Springboro should have won. I suppose if you don't care about state rankings and need to try to fix some issues before tournament - that's what you do. I think I would care about rankings too much.

Going undefeated wire to wire is special but not easily accomplished. I think Walsh dropped a game last year and they sure looked good in the final. I think this year’s central district tournament is going to be a free-for-all in D1. Last year, the 4 top seeds won their districts. I don’t think that will happen this year. We’ll know for sure in 32 days. Injuries and luck will factor in. Referees will have an impact too like it or not.
