Newark beats Scioto again
Davidson over Westerville Central - but probably only because Davidson wins in OT or PKs
Delaware over Central Crossing
The rest probably just have to get through the game without anyone getting injured.

Tournament Starts Tonight! Probably the Davidson/Westerville Central is the most 'non-first-round" first round game, along with Newark/Scioto. Good luck to those teams tonight. If you see a game, let us know.

Well, Davidson loses in first round - I was torn on this one, but thought HD would pull it out. Scioto beats Newark after a loss a few weeks ago. Delaware goes to OT with Central Crossing, but pulls it out in the end.
Good first night.

tonight: Bradley over Thomas Worthington probably.
Tomorrow:
I think Worthington Christian at Fairbanks could be a good game. Am I wrong?
Otherwise, the closest game is probably Delaware at Marysville and honestly - I think it will be a close game...I don't think they've played each other --- but Delaware tied Jerome and didn't Marysville tie Coffman?
The teams can play when they need to, so I think it will be a close one but I think Delaware has the better keeper and that might push them over the edge tonight for a rematch against Jerome.

WC vs Fairbanks should be good game. I'd give the edge to WC although they slumped a bit towards the end of the season. I assume that Fairbanks still plays on their terrible, undersized, unlevel, crappy field next to a highway with a cornfield behind the goal. (Probably one of the worst fields I've seen)

I added in the remaining games that I think I was missing.
Maybe my favorite game will be Upper Arlington v. New Albany. I think this could be a very good game. UA needs to find a way to make a goal or two happen, but they have a good defense and might be able to keep up with the NA scorers.
AND
DeSales v. Grove City -- that will be a good game also. My slight edge goes to DeSales but I can't even be 100% on that one.

RE: Upper Arlington vs New Albany, the game will be played at Westerville South due to repairs going on at New Albany track/ field.
I'm guessing it might be a low scoring game, maybe OT....

I’ve heard DeSales has had a tough year with injuries. I wish them well in the tournament but I think Grove City advances.

Division One: Marysville and Delaware should be close, I'll go with 2-1 Marysville. Same score for New Albany over UA. Grove City beats DeSales 2-0, and Westerville Central upsets Canal. The rest of the games are ugly.
Division Two: Granville and Big Walnut roll, Bloom Carroll by a goal over Bexley, and Hartley with the upset over Jonathan Alder.
Division Three: Grandview and Academy win by several, Wellington 2-0 over Johnstown, and I'll take Worthington Christian, despite playing on the worst field in Central Ohio, beating Fairbanks.

Watterson v. Gahanna -- going with Gahanna; not sure how close it will be. Watterson played PN 3-1...might be about a similar score. New Albany v. Darby -- I don't know. Darby probably wins, but this could be a good game. NA won't be able to score from the 30 like they have been, against Darby. Orange v. Coffman -- another possible good game with potential for upset. Liberty v. Bradley -- see above Grove City v. Canal Winchester -- see above Scioto v. Pick North -- a little less concerned about this one for PN, but hey - stranger things have happened, right? Westerville North v. Olentangy -- these teams tied earlier this season. Olentangy can win but they have to bring it. Marysville v. Jerome -- Jerome by a couple
Those are my best guesses.

What a weak post. Try again, this time with some heart!

Watterson v. Gahanna - Gahanna 2-0 New Albany v. Darby - NA upsets Darby 2-1 Orange vs Coffman - Orange with the biggest upset of central district, 1-0 Liberty v. Bradley - Liberty 2-1 in OT Grove City v. Canal Winchester - Canal 3-1 Scioto v. Pick North - PN 6-0 Westerville North v. Olentangy - Olentangy 2-0 Marysville v. Jerome - Jerome 3-0
That's how it's done AlwaysInjured 😊

I shouldn't do this but it's all in good fun.
Gahanna by 3 Darby by 2 Orange by 2 Liberty by 3 (rematch different outcome) G. City by 1 P. North by 7 Olentangy by 3 Jerome by 4
Pure guesses. I would prefer New Albany over Darby as NA are good neighbors.

Watterson v. Gahanna - Gahanna 1-0 on a set piece (surprise!) pretty even game in all phases but McGee has a way of getting the results when needed. McGee vs Dempsey has and will always be interesting. New Albany v. Darby - New Albany 3-2 - NA pretty underrated all year with only one loss. They will find a way to not lose. Orange vs Coffman - Orange 3-1 - Orange is scary good when on. I say tonight they are on and shocks the rocks. Liberty v. Bradley - Liberty 4-3 in OT - both teams have shown both ability to score a lot and let a lot in. Barn burner up in Hilliard tonight! Grove City v. Canal Winchester - Canal 1-0 in OT - CW out plays GC but doesn’t create enough quality opportunities until one breaths through in OT again. Scioto v. Pick North - PN 5-0 with no shots against. PN is scary good and consistent. Wouldn’t want to play them. Westerville North v. Olentangy - Olentangy 0-0 win in pks Olentangy with many more opportunities. Marysville v. Jerome - Jerome 2-1 Jerome controls everything but their final ball. Marysville score on one of their two chances to make it interesting.
