I can see Darby and Liberty being closer - Darby has fought back from being down the last two games. Hard to not see them being able to keep it close.
I can give Pick North the nod on this game, too. No way they won't be ready for Jerome this time.
I think Grandview might be Rosecrans 4-0 -- but that's just from a review of prior game scores. I have not seen Rosecrans play.

Darby players and it's coach displayed the worst sportsmanship I have witnessed all season. Coach and one of his players got a yellow card. Ref completely lost control of the game. Just lucky someone did not get injured. Many parents commented that the AD should have stepped in to calm things down. Darby played football. Liberty played good, solid soccer and notched its 4th shut out in a row. 2-0 Liberty.
I think will Darby will have trouble matching up with Liberty in this rematch. Liberty has a different style than Gahanna and I think that will be a problem for Darby. Liberty has plenty dangerous attackers and I think they will put huge pressure on Darby’s back line. The X factor for Liberty is putting shots on frame.
I had Liberty winning this game after the brackets came out and still think they will play in the final. I hope the referee is up for this one and call it tight from the kickoff.

Maybe Darby should schedule Big Walnut next season!

That would be a game with too many injuries! Although now I kind of want to see it.

It was a 0-0 tie this year early season. I would imagine they will play again next year too. Would be an eye and ear sore to witness one would think.

I think I just WANT Liberty to beat Jerome again, but I like Liberty 2-1.

3-2 Liberty in OT. Thinking another back and forth like the PN game. Atleast that’s what I’m hoping for:) 2-0 Big Walnut and it’s more of the ugly game against a team New Philly that has absolutely no business being allowed to be in the elite 8 just like their whole region. 1-0 Grandview Heights in a battle between the 30 yard lines. Not many chances for either team, but GH caps on one of the few chances of the game. Outside of Central District. 2-1 Loveland over Boro to set up Liberty vs Loveland in the final 4 3-1Indian Hill rolls Tipp City to take on Big Nut Tuesday. 3-0 Summit smacks Madeira to take on GH in a rematch of two years ago. Wish I could go to all but may not make it to any. Could someone please give good updates in here for whatever games they go to?? People on Twitter kind of suck!

Big Walnut covers the spread in a 8-0 win over something called New Philadelphia.
Liberty v Jerome? Anyone?

I like the Liberty win but a little concerned it's about to end for them. It's amazing what a different team Jerome can be on any given night. Liberty is good, but overall talent HAS to go to Jerome. Without a doubt that team SHOULD be top 4 in the state, but players have to play and coaches have to coach them, I guess.

OK, I see dark clouds on the horizon today for the three remaining Central District teams.
Loveland over Olentangy Liberty 2-0.
Indian Hill over Big Walnut 3-0.
Summit Country Day over Grandview 4-0.
All three of the winners tonight go on to win the state on Friday.

Yep, looks like all 3 Central teams are underdogs. What should they do to try and pull off an upset on a cold November night??

I'm not sure Liberty can beat Loveland no matter what. I don't think they can out-coach Loveland, which is what is going to be the main issue tonight. I could be wrong, and I want Liberty to keep going, but...I have my concerns.
I hope Grandview can keep it close.
