I woke up this morning with a feeling of deja vu. My final 4 picks are last year’s final 4:
Pickerington North Dublin Jerome Olentangy Liberty Gahanna Lincoln
I think the regional final will be...... Jerome vs Liberty with Jerome moving on to the state final 4.

I’ll add Granville and Grandview to my predictions to complete the central region divisions.
Big Walnut v Granville should be a great re-match.

Thanks. I overlooked Canal and New Albany. I’ve been tracking certain teams for awhile and those two weren’t on my list. PN, GL, OL and Granville have been strong the last 4 years. Of those 4, they have earned 189, 172, 174 and 172 points respectively. The next closest is at 147. I didn’t look up Grandview’s 4 year records.
Since I’m a Gahanna supporter, I added up their clean sheets since Bob McGee took over. 26 of 37 games have been shutouts and the most goals allowed were 2 against Granville this year. No other team has scored more than 1 since McGee arrived. Gahanna has only conceded 12 goals in 37 games or .324 GAA. They’ve played some really good teams along the way. I hope they can keep it going. I didn’t check but I think Gahanna has only conceded 4 of the 12 goals from the run of play. The vast majority of goals allowed have been of the free kick variety. 3 were penalty kicks.

I know Bob, he is a very good coach with the career results to prove it (state title at DeSales in early 2000s if I remember correctly)! That is an impressive defensive display especially considering the difficult schedule Gahanna always has.

I’m sticking to last year’s district winner’s as this year’s district winners.
Pick North - solid Jerome - more likely than not Liberty - toss up Gahanna - toss up
Granville - toss up
Grandview - toss up
Weather conditions will have an impact. I think the weather will aid the defenses but no evidence to support that. We’ll know the first team to the regional tournament in less than 48 hours.

I'll agree with ya. I think Orange vs Liberty is the most competitive game of the 4.

I hope Canal gives PN a good game. I think they can. I would also think Olentangy could do OK against Jerome. I like Liberty's chances to knock off Orange this time. Gahanna is tougher for sure.

Gahanna 1-0 for the win again. They know how to get results even if it’s not pretty. **freekick for the win**
Jerome 3-1. Jerome has one of their solid performances and not one like when they played Delaware:(
Pick North 2-0. They will be jammed down Canals throat but due to Hartleys grease lightning field they will struggle with the final ball.
Liberty 2-1. The grizzly has come out of regular season hybernation just in time for the tournament. Should be a fun game to watch.
