Not many great games on Thursday but a handful.
CW vs North, Grove City vs Pick Central, and Marysville vs Kilbourne could all be good games.
Watterson vs Hartley was only 4-0 the first time around.
But the best game has to be Davidson/Bradley.
PREDICTIONS:
Watterson v. Hartley Watterson 3-0
Marysville v. Kilbourne Marysville 2-0
Gahanna v. Licking Hts Gahanna 7-0
Canal Winchester v. Westerville North CW 3-1
Pickerington North v. Dublin Scioto PN 4-0
Grove City v. Pickerington Central this will be a close game... I think Grove City takes this one even though PC beat them 4-1 during league play. I think GC coach will make adjustments. GC 3-2
Westerville Central v. Watkins Memorial Central 4-0
New Albany v. Delaware Hayes New Albany 4-0
Dublin Coffman v. Thomas Worthington Coffman 3-1
Olentangy Orange v. Westerville South Orange 2-0
Olentangy v. Briggs Olentangy 11-0
Hilliard Davidson v. Hilliard Bradley Davidson 3-2
Jerome v. Central Crossing Jerome 7-0
Olentangy Liberty v. Reynoldsburg Liberty 5-0
Hilliard Darby v. Westland Darby 11-0
Mifflin v. Upper Arlington UA 11-0

I'm going to agree that Davidson/Bradley is probably the closest game of the night. Looks like they played each other the first game of the year and it will be someone's last game of the year, too. Davidson won 2-1 in the first game - which was close. Does Bradley have the ability to make this a revenge game? I don't like their Canal loss (anyone know what happened there?) given the Canal/DAvidson 3-3 score -- it may be Davidson that comes out on top. Can't be sure. I've certainly heard more about the Bradley keeper than the Davidson keeper - but we haven't gotten too many keeper updates lately.
Coffman/TW played each other earlier in the season, but I believe it was prior to some key Coffman injuries. That game could be closer - so I'm giving it 1-0 Coffman here.
As much as I want Kilbourne/Marysville to be close - it's likely a Marysville 2-0 win.
I think Canal/Westerville North could be a little closer too -- North has had as crazy of a season as everyone else.
The rest of the games will be blowouts.

From what I have heard, Canal controlled the game against Bradley pretty easily. But, I wasn't there to watch. One or both teams could have been resting players. Good luck to all!

Thought I'd jump on and give the rundown of Davidson v Bradley
Davidson scored first on a Penalty Kick; Bradley answered quickly - within a couple minutes. It was 1-1 half. With less than 3 min left in the game, Davidson got a breakaway and put one in. Davidson out shot Bradley by quite a bit, though. They have some good players. Bradley was missing a key defender unfortunately and that had an impact. But Davidson won the game and they were missing some key players as well.
Re: Canal v Bradley -- I was there. Canal controlled the game only when Bradley had most of their JV team in the game. Bradley was wary of injuries is my guess as to why they kept out a lot of starters and after watching the game and seeing Canal get called for 18 fouls - that's the actual number of fouls called against Canal, I'm not just exaggerating a number - I can understand more as to why. Believe me, the Bradley parents were wondering even though we knew the game didn't mean anything. But we did not play our starters very much at all. Too bad, because it would have been a good game. The first goal for Canal was a Bradley own-goal unfortunately and then our starting keeper came out and our 3rd string keeper went in. The game control went to canal after that.

Thanks for the update! I apparently fell asleep and didn't update game scores last night. Sorry! I'll get to that now.
