Per BirdofPrey, Westerville Central Keeper, Kellum, kept WC in the game during their 0-1 loss to Gahanna. Kellum had 7 saves for WC.

Apparently Ackley had 16 saves against Jerome tonight for Thomas Worthington. I never know if a stat keeper is keeping "saves" the way most people keep saves - which is a lot more stringent than I think most people and parents think. However, I wouldn't be surprised if this was a correct number against Jerome. Did anyone see this game?

Weller, of Delaware Hayes, had 17 saves vs Bradley. I was given enough information to be convinced that those were real, legitimate saves. That is facing a whole lot of shots! Great job, Keep! Apparently there were 4 amazing saves that should have been goals but for the keeper. Also heard the GK was pretty mad at her defense, as Goal 2 was a follow-up shot after GK made a good first save. That's always a tough situation for the keeper.

It's interesting to note that after receiving a tip on the GKs to keep an eye on, I haven't gotten a report on anything from those keepers. That said, those 4 schools do not have very many goals scored on them and maybe they have a good enough defense to keep shots away from their keepers - or the keeps are doing the job they need to do with the shots that are on goal. Either way, as the season winds to an end - we may start to hear more about these players, and certainly, hopefully more in the post-season.

I will throw in that Keck and Enneking, from Bradley, who were on your list, had big saves tonight in a 1-0 win v Gahanna.

Are they each playing a half in every game?

Credit to Bradley's starting keeper (First Half) for the game v. Jerome. Apparently, even though the score was 3-0 Jerome in first 13 minutes or so, the keeper stayed in the game and made some good saves and plays. If anyone knows which keeper it was, I will add her name. It was E. Keck
