Which teams are the Game of the Day for 9/5?
I'm looking forward to:
Coffman v. Pick North Gahanna v. Olentangy Liberty
Those have to be the toughest games being played. I like Coffman's chances to pull off an upset on the road. If Liberty is still pumped over their Jerome win, they could bring it to Gahanna.
Thoughts?

Anyone? Do you have a game you will be watching tonight? Is there a better game that I'm missing?

Not sure what to think about Gahanna v Liberty. Liberty has won or tied 54 of their last 67 matches going back to the beginning of the 2014 season. Gahanna has won or tied 53 of 61 in the same period. Gahanna has won the only 2 matches between them and both were last year.
Gahanna might have an edge in the back but Liberty has the firepower up top. It's a toss up on who will come out on top. Slight edge to Liberty playing at home.

Thanks for the discussion. I can't begin to even guess a score for this game - I could see a 1-1 draw. It might be the one to watch tonight. The top 10 teams are a lot closer in play/parity this year. Please let us know what you think tonight. I won't make it over to Liberty, so I will be interested. I would love to get this Board to the point where we have enough members willing to provide 'in-game' updates. I will create a board for it, so maybe we can get updates prior to waiting for box scores that may or may not be correct.

Great result for Gahanna! PN 2-0 Dublin Jerome - also a great result for PN. Good soccer being played tonight in the area.

PN played Dublin Coffman, but still a good result. Coffman has had some impressive games so far.

Good scores tonight. The one I find the most interesting after some close games was Big Walnut 4, Westerville Central 1.

9/6 Game of the Day:
I'm following up from last night's Big Walnut win and calling the Darby v. Big Walnut game tonight at the "9/6 Game of the Day".
Take your best game score guess here! I'm going with Darby 3-1.

It seems odd Darby and BW would play on consecutive nights. No real recovery time. I wonder if this game gets moved to a different date.

Prediction, Darby by at least 4. I'll say 5-1.

Birdofprey, Darby 0, Big Walnut 0. Playing 2 nights in a row might have been the culprit.

9/7 GOTD
I have to go with either DeSales v. Watterson or Olentangy v. New Albany.
DeSales and Watterson will be a battle. Olentangy is a good team but NA has been rolling over their opponents. This should be NA's first big game with a ranked team.

Birdofprey, Darby 0, Big Walnut 0. Playing 2 nights in a row might have been the culprit.WOW! I saw the Olentangy Orange score of 4-0 and figured Darby would do about the same. Actually, I thought Darby would do better than Orange since I think Darby is better. I don't understand how Big Walnut can beat Granville by 1 and lose by 4 to Orange and then hold Darby scoreless. Back-to-back games is really strange scheduling.

Completely agree. Big Walnut's scores are as odd to me as Westerville Central's. I wonder if they've had injuries here or there that have caused good players to be missing during games.
