I'm heading to Pick North v Jerome instead of New Albany/Gahanna. I debated a lot. Birdofprey - send us some NA/Gahanna updates.

Good choice on Pick North at Jerome.
I don’t expect much from the New Albany at Gahanna game. Darby and UA might be interested in watching this one which is why I doubt they will get to see much. That’s New Albany’s next 2 opponents assuming UA beats Kilbourne on Monday and NA gets by UA. No disrespect to Westland but Darby will win to face Kilbourne/UA v NA.
The other thought would be for NA to come out blazing against Gahanna and give their next opponent something to think about. I don’t have any insight but it would seem logical that Gahanna just wants this game over without anymore bruises. This could be a boring game. It could be more like a friendly or scrimmage.

Gahanna and New Albany played to a 0-0 tie. New Albany had a couple good chances. Gahanna had a couple as well.

I'm not sure where to post it but... had the night free so went and watched Davidson vs Westerville Central. Both teams had a good amount more chances than they converted, but I'm betting Davidson had the edge - lots of shots just over or just wide. Central's goals were scrappy but not particularly impressive, one off of a scramble off of a free kick from near the corner, the other a nice shot that bounced off the post, back into the keeper, and off her arm into the net. Central packed it in a bit especially after they were up, looked like one out of the Gahanna playbook. Davidson pressed the whole 2nd half but couldn't convert. Interesting game but not particularly skillful.

Davidson has some good players if memory serves - at least 3 that are quick and smart. I don't remember a lot of talent from WC, but I remember that they didn't give up at all.
I am sure HD didn't expect that loss, but I heard from another coach that WC took HD as fast as they could get them. Guess it was a good move.
