If you have any info on how high schools are handling their fall seasons, post here
And stay safe and healthy!

I'm hearing that fall sports could be swapped with spring sports and soccer and football would take place in spring 2021. OR, possibly a shortened season. OR, possibly no fans at games.
Certainly this is an interesting (and sad) time. I hope that the 2021 seniors get a chance to play!

Schools have full schedules set. I think there is a strong hope that we will be moving forward with no reduction in the season.

I am hearing that all showcases have been cancelled and many scrimmages as well. I'm wondering now if the season start will be later? OHSAA news is consistent that practices will still start Aug 1st, but I'm struggling to see how it will be possible to start games in August without enough training/full practices/scrimmages taking place.

Any input on whether or not it makes sense to swap seasons? I know OHSAA is sticking to their 'we start Aug 1' line, but the evidence seems to suggest a swap might be imminent.
Gonna make it tough on athletes who play more than 1 sport.
Thoughts?

Hearing that sports may be a go for the fall, with some major restrictions.
Start figuring out how to live stream games now -----

Fairfield Co. Health Board is recommending all Fairfield Co Schools don't hold in person classes and cancel fall seasons. Could be the start of a domino effect imo.

Yeah you're right they did back off of that. But now today Hilliard and New Albany with announcements of suspension or resetting of sports to phase 1... maybe more schools too I'm not sure. I think I am giving up on predicting anything!

Hoping to hear some final words on the subject from the Gov/Lt Gov on Thursday! I have no idea what to expect, but given the OSU decision, I will find it hard to believe that we will play this season.
Here's to hoping!

Any idea what is going to happen tomorrow? DeWine definitely seemed to state that the games will take place with modifications. I know there are games on Friday night, though. Hope we get there...

I've spoke to a couple coaches who are planning scrimmages for Weds. So I think most people are optimistic. Fingers crossed!

Great news! I'm still awaiting info on those devilish details, but still looking good for a full season. Until it isn't!
